My Farmstead Revival

About

Hi, I’m Angela and welcome to My Farmstead Revival!

Life is so busy and everything is fighting for our attention. I am on a journey to get back to the simple way of life, to just slow down and enjoy what truly matters.  I am a Jesus follower, a wife, and a mom to three kids. A few things that matter to me are being able to be a stay at home mom, raise animals, make things from scratch, eat healthy and be a homemaker.

A little more…

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved animals.  Growing up, I raised quite a few different animals and participated in 4-H. My dream was to have a little farm so I could own all the animals I wanted.  Fast forward, I am now a wife and mama who just moved to our little farmstead in 2024.  The past decade has been a decade of growth.  Part of our journey has been learning more about health and how the food we eat affects us.  This came about because of my husband’s gluten allergy and my daughter’s severe constipation and extremely high fevers. My middle son struggled with colic and wouldn’t let me out of his sight for the first year of his life without screaming.  Our youngest son has been a very happy boy but has been dealing with severe eczema.

Life has never been dull.  But all of these challenges have led to more growth.  We’ve had 7 years of mostly failed garden attempts (haha) and have learned to make more things from scratch.  I’ve learned a lot but trust me, I still have a long ways to go.  We had what animals we could living in town – dogs, cats, a bunny, a ferret, and fish.  We tried to remain patient for our ‘future farm’ even though it was hard at times.  Now our dream has come true of having a little farm.  I am really looking forward to growing this opportunity we have and I want to share my adventure with anyone who wants to follow along.  I pray you find encouragement as well as knowledge that you can apply to your own life, wherever you are on your journey.  Thanks for coming along as we revive the farmstead lifestyle!
